What is INTERNS?
INTERNS stands for Internship Navigation & Tracking for Evaluation, Reporting, and Notation System.
The word ‘INTERNS’ represents both the purpose and the users — the interns themselves.
- Navigation & Tracking: means the system helps monitor students’ internship journey and daily progress.
- Evaluation & Reporting: shows that lecturers and supervisors can review and approve reports online.
- Notation: refers to recording and archiving all verified reports securely for each session.
Overview
INTERNS is a web-based platform designed to manage and monitor internship activities in one centralized place. Students record progress, lecturers monitor and evaluate, and company supervisors provide feedback — all within a transparent, structured workflow.
Objectives
- Streamline internship tracking and reporting end-to-end.
- Enhance communication between students, lecturers, and company supervisors.
- Digitalize manual logbooks, evaluations, and signatures.
- Provide real-time monitoring and status transparency.
- Generate automated summaries and PDF reports for documentation.
Target Users
- Students : Log daily/weekly activities, request leave, view approvals & feedback.
- Lecturers : Monitor progress, grade/evaluate logs and leaves, and review approvals of the assigned students.
- Company/Supervisors : Validate intern work, approve daily,weekly logs and leaves, and approve student's assignments.
- Admin : Manage users, contents, companies, roles, sessions, announcements, and archives.

Go to profile and assign your lecturer and supervisor. After approved, you're ready to go!
What if I want to ask more about this website?

Can company supervisors sign daily/weekly logs?
Yes. Supervisors can verify and sign logs that are assigned to them.
Can lecturers see only their own students?
Yes. Lecturer dashboards are filtered by student assignment, based on your schema.
Can I change my internship session?
Ask the admin to update your session (e.g. “Session 1 2025/2026”). New logs will inherit it.
Are PDF reports supported?
Yes. Daily/Weekly/Leave pages can generate PDF using the portal’s built-in PDF helpers.
Do we have role-based dashboards?
Yes. Student, Lecturer, Supervisor and Admin each have their own dashboard view.
What if supervisor is not approved yet?
You will see a notice (not approved). Ask your supervisor/admin to approve first.
Can I view company/supervisor list publicly?
Yes, via the Registered Companies page. Only supervisors with company info appear there.
Is there dark mode?
Yes. You can toggle light/dark at the top and it will be saved to your browser.
What if I forgot my password?
Use the login page to reset, or contact the admin to reset from the backend.
Can admin post announcements to student dashboard?
Yes. Announcements are shown as cards on student/supervisor/lecturer dashboards.
